One of the distinctive features of the Lefebvre brewery is the sheer number of products.
While some twenty recipes are developed, there are over 700 finished products!
Indeed, each market has its own characteristics (type of bottle, label, etc.).
The challenge of the MES project was manifold:
- increase customer satisfaction through improved responsiveness to orders received
- improve productivity through more consistent production planning
- standardize production processes for different teams
- integrate existing information systems

In terms of productivity, there is greater control over production schedules and supplies. Quality control has been linked to MES so that it can be carried out without interrupting production.
The know-how of our employees is supported, making it easier for them to accomplish their tasks and make the right decision at the right time. The recording of any non-conformities enables a significant continuous improvement process.
The implementation of MES also enables better management of resources and a controlled impact on the environment. For example, the quantity of hot water to be produced in the brewhouse is better calculated to avoid wastage.
Better communication and greater agility enable us to respond more effectively to customer demand, and thus increase customer satisfaction.
