Customer challenge
Initially, our customer had a proprietary solution that uploaded data to an external platform. Unfortunately, their service provider went bankrupt and defaulted.
Technord’s mission
Our IoT department teams have developed a tailor-made solution for wireless (4G) data retrieval, thanks to PLCs connected (InHand IG902) directly to the customer’s SFTP servers.
As a result, the customer retains ownership of the solution, and the existing system is no longer dependent on an external service provider.
Each time 10 kW of electricity or 10m3 of gas is consumed, the meter emits a pulse. Once a day, it generates a CSV file that is sent to the customer’s SFTP server via the Internet (4G).
Customer results
This information makes it possible to contextualize the various consumption levels and detect any loss of yield.
Thanks to the IoT solution provided by our teams, the customer is able to retrieve the energy consumption of its various sites around the world and manage them more efficiently.
